How do you solve a problem like Maria?

You dive right to the heart of it.

Maria's deep affection for humanity and its intricate emotions motivates her to help solve her clients' problems by connecting people in meaningful ways. First published at the age of five on her parents’ refrigerator, she’s used a mere 26 letters of the English alphabet and a smattering of punctuation to create brand identities and craft the voices of dozens of companies across numerous industries worldwide.

Born two weeks premature after 30 hours of hard labor, Maria entered this world bursting with curiosity and stubborn as hell. Fast forward a few decades, and she’s still up for any adventure and a little more flexible, as long as it makes for the best work. Her adventures have spanned from trading belt buckles with the guitarist of Mötorhead to petting a full-grown rhinoceros, using the bathroom stall next to Joan Jett, singing the national anthem at a Minor League Baseball game, and accidentally driving through a Game of Thrones set while getting lost outside of Belfast.

She is fascinated by death care and knows exactly how her funeral will be arranged, is an amateur spider conservationist, meditates by snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains, and probably shouldn’t eat gluten but gluten-free tortillas taste like sawdust.

She has 14 years of experience working in advertising agencies as an ACD and copywriter. Her work has been recognized at the local and national level by the American Advertising Federation and The One Show, and has been published in Communication Arts.

She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband and their various species of children.
